E-Commerce & Privacy The Website www.checkmart.co.za sells groceries, meat and produce online. The use of any product or service bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website. The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product. Credit card details are not kept by the Provider under any circumstances. The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device. The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order. The Provider will not be held liable for the condition of goods arriving at the User’s chosen delivery address. Online Payment All online credit card payments are processed by PayGate, Card Holders may go to www.paygate.co.za to view PayGate’s security policies. Updating of these Terms and Conditions Provider reserves the rights to change, modify, add or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. RETURNS & REFUNDS We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the delivery costs for the return. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution. delivery
DELIVERY All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order. You will receive another notification when your order is out for delivery. We charge a flat rate of R29 (ZAR) for delivery. Deliveries are made from 8am to 5pm on Monday to Saturday . We will contact you via text message/email/in app notification to notify you when your order is out for delivery. Cancelation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY Please note, the following information only applies to orders from our OnlineShop. Products purchased at our stores should be returned directly to the store from which they were originally purchased. You may cancel an order at any time within 7 working days, beginning on the day after you receive the Products. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products in accordance with our refunds policy (below). To cancel an order, you must inform us directly by calling 031 944 7860 or in writing at [email protected]. You must also return the Products (unless it is a detergent or chemical) to us as soon as reasonably practicable after informing us of the cancellation, and at your own cost. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. You will not have any right to cancel an order for detergents or chemicals if the container seal has been broken or tampered with. |
